Theo The Sun, sự việc xảy ra khoảng 14h ngày 15/9 trên đường New Heston Road, phía Tây London. Vụ việc được camera hành trình của một ô tô gần đó và camera an ninh của một cửa hàng ghi lại.

Nam tài xế lái chiếc Volkswagen Polo màu trắng được xác định là Saj. Người này cho biết đang rời một cửa hàng âm thanh và điều khiển xe nhập vào đường chính. Khi đó, anh muốn rẽ phải và đứng chờ dòng phương tiện đang di chuyển chậm phía trước.
